Happy Easter!

Psalm 118: 26-29 --

Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! We have blessed you from the house of the Lord. God is the Lord, and He has given us light; bind the sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar. You are my God, and I will praise You; You are my God, I will exalt You. Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.

Greetings everyone! These last few weeks have been very busy. With moving into our new place, and all of the new ministry opportunities... we've been going non-stop. And it has been so great!
We were fortunate enough to spend a few days with some dear friends from back home, Dave Landis and Loren Rossignol. They were able to stop by in South Africa during a trip to Malawi. Our church back home is putting on a pastor's conference in Malawi at the end of April for over 250 local pastors and their wives. Pastor Barry Stagner (Calvary Chapel Tustin) is the main speaker for the conference, so please keep him in your prayers as the Lord prepares him for the conference. On a side note, Calvary Chapel Tustin is promoting a way that people can get involved with sponsoring a Malawi pastor and his wife to attend the conference. (click here for more details)
As we mentioned, we moved into our new place. God has totally blessed us with such a wonderful place to live. Its located right on Main Road in the heart of Paarl. We live in a house that is 2 separate houses, one on top of another. Our landlords lives above us, and they are such sweet Christians. Gisela has been so helpful during this move-in process. The Lord just keeps reminding us time and time again how He guides and provides in such a perfect way.
This Sunday morning we will begin services at a historic little church that we just so happen to live right next to. We will be able to use our home for child care and our front garden for an after service Easter lunch.
The leaves are starting to change as we are entering into Autumn. It's such a beautiful time of year here and we are happy to be getting past the record temperatures and humidity. This should also be a positive change for Joy's allergies and eczema, if you could please keep that in prayer. Emerson has been going to play school once a week, while we minister to the Dream Team, and is making lots of little friends. It is a Afrikaans speaking school, so she will have no problem picking up the language. Us adults on the other hand are still searching out ways that we can really concentrate on learning Afrikaans. We are looking into some short courses at Stellenbosch University. We are also anticipating the arrival of Mom & Pop who will be arriving next month along with more friends from CCT. We miss you and love you all!

He is Risen! Oh, how thankful we are!

Blessings to everyone,
